Like many of us, my father got me started in aeromodelling when I was 7 years old flying control line. From age 7 to 18 I flew control line stunt and FAI combat until 1983 when I left the hobby for several years as I started working. I entered back into the hobby in 1996 flying R/C and immediately fell in love with precession aerobatics. IMAC at the time was just starting to grow and I was hooked. From 1998 to 2006 I flew I over 50 contests throughout the US competing in the South-CentralRegion and attending many contests out of the region to include the JR IMAC Challenge, Tucson Aerobatic Shootout, and IMAC nationals. I went to work for Desert Aircraft from 2006 to 2008 before getting recruited by Northrop Grumman to fly UAV’s overseas from 2008 to 2019. I have been deployed for 8 out of my 11 years with NGC and have just recently entered “Semi-Retirement” which has allowed me the time to enter back into the hobby again. Now living on the east coast in Savannah Ga,I’m excited to be in a very active South-East region and am excited to be a part of Team JR PROPO and look forward to attending many events in the 2020 season.
